New Orleans: The Benachi House

The primary reason for my trip to New Orleans back in October was a friend’s wedding. Granted I got a lot out of my trip (as seen by the numerous photo entries on here,,,and a few more to come). The wedding was at the Benachi House. It was in a section of the city I hadn’t visited at all since it was north of the highway up Esplanade which was way too far for me to walk on my own during my days of sightseeing. I also didn’t go inside the house until towards the end of the night, so almost all of the shots are outside.

Just in case you weren't sure where you were...look down at the sidewalk.

I think this pretty much sums up that a wedding is here.

Because all southern houses are creepy in minimal light.

Next time: since NYC has decided to be overly warm and there is no snow in sight, we will continue to play catch up with the New Orleans photos with a look at the street musicians and people of New Orleans.
