Tulip Invasion!

Part two of our trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens brings us tons of tulips. I’ve had trouble shooting these in the past due to color and surface texture, but I think these came out quite nicely (the cloudy weather helped). These tulips were found along the side of the Lily Pool Terrace. Lots of people stop to take pictures here and do drawings for classes, so it can get very crowded.

Red tulips are the bane of my existence. Their color and texture are very difficult to work out without washing out the color.
