During a trip to the Sleepy Hollow area of New York State, we made a brief stop in Tarrytown to do some antiquing and get some sushi. We didn’t go to see the mansions (something I should eventually like to do) and all of the time was spent on Main Street, so I didn’t take a lot of shots. Here are a few images of the town proper.
A better view of the facade.
Looks like an English style of architecture over a corner restaurant.
A large building (possibly a school) in the shade of the trees.
One of a few churches on Main Street.
They have benches on the sidewalks for very pleasant seating breaks.
The post office under the trees.
There is an elf on top of the antique selling barn.
That is an impressive house.
Next week: Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
