The New Hudson Yards Subway Stop

In September 2015, the 7 line was extended to reach 34th st at Hudson Yards. I have yet to set foot inside the terminal as I have no need of this stop with my usual commutes, but friends have gone in and taken shots. I took advantage of an earlier walk by to map out what shots I wanted to get as the sun set over the Hudson River. At the present time, the south entrance is the only entrance open to the public, while the north entrance is still under construction.

Next week: I got a chance to get some shots of Times Square at 4 am – when there are almost no people or cars in it.

One Response to The New Hudson Yards Subway Stop

  1. I lived on 37th & 9th; then 38th & 10th during the 80s & 90s while they gentrified by arson. I had a wide view of the Lincoln tunnel and then the LIRR/Amtrak/Penn yards as they were called then.
