Spent an evening sitting in Washington Square Park and was subjected to an enjoyable man making giant bubbles in front of the arch. He drew quite a crowd. At the same time, there was the nice backdrop of the christmas tree still standing under the arch. Take a look.
Night time north of the park.
I can stand in the middle of the street at night time to get this.
Nice and up close.
Looking up at the tree and arch.
Not very crowded at all.
The crowd is only in one spot.
Play with light and shadow.
Lamp in the shot.
A straight on shot of the scene.
Black and white works as well.
Here come the bubbles.
Fun with bubbles!
Light on the bubbles creates the colors.
How wide can we go?
Walking with the bubble.
Let the wind make the bubble.
Half a heart as a bubble.
Everyone is enjoying the bubbles.
A last parting look.
Next week: I went to Lincoln Center on a cold day and it was practically empty.
